
Mike Brennan 
Tim GallivanIn 1978 Tim left the restaurant business and started his real estate career in White Bear Lake. He worked as a sales agent for two years and then took a management job with an employment agency. Tim returned to the real estate business in 1982 and started Gallivan Properties until 1984 when he returned to his previous firm in the Maplewood area. Tim joined the companies management team in 1988 and took over operations of their Stillwater office in 1990.
Tim left management in 2000 and started teaching and has been in front of nearly every new person looking to become licensed in the State of Minnesota for their pre-license training. Tim returned his real estate license back to the State of Minnesota in 2012 to join a long-time friend and fellow trainer to start their own real estate pre & post licensing school called Mn. Realty School in St. Paul, Mn.
When away from real estate, Tim enjoys sports, music and community service. He’s a member of the optimist Club and works yearly on the St. Patrick’s Day Festival. Besides playing piano and guitar, he also describes himself as an “adequate” golfer. Tim and his wife Carol have 2 children (Brian & Brent) and two lovely grandchildren (Reena & Riley). Tim & Carol reside in Maplewood as they have for 35 years.
Dan Larson
Dan has grown up in a real estate family. From his grandfather Archie Larson who owned his own real estate brokerage to his father Rick Larson who founded ProSource, Dan has been surrounded by real estate his entire life. Dan started teaching real estate in 2003 and became licensed to sell. He listed and sold real estate for a number of years while he taught prelicense courses. Dan has taught all over the world, including the US and Japan! Dan has an energy level that is contagious and a knowledge that is deep.
When not selling, teaching or talking about real estate, Dan is a father of two wonderful children whom he spends his time with. Dan is also an accomplished performer and practices yoga and other stress-releasing things like going to the cabin to fish, relax and enjoy Northern Minnesota
Barry Mingo
Barry Mingo has been licensed in all areas of insurance since 1992 and real estate since 2000. He secured his broker’s license in 2002. Barry has spent the majority of his career working in the areas of marketing, sales and business development as an insurance agent and real estate broker building a successful Property & Casualty Insurance Business as well as his own Real Estate Agency. Barry brings over 9 years of experience in the area of Real Estate and Insurance Pre-licensing instruction to the table as well as real life examples to the classroom which makes learning easy, fun and exciting. Barry lives in Lino Lakes with his wife, 4 children and his 8 ½ pound Shih Tzu Ruffus. Barry is involved in Community Theater, does commercial shoots for numerous production companies, enjoys fishing, boating, camping, golfing and spending time with his family.
Janet Vanderbilt
Closing and education Specialist in Residential closings and title insurance
Janet has been in the title insurance industry for 30+ years. Prior to starting her own title company on June 1, 1996, she was the Vice President of the Escrow Department for another local title company for 14 years.
Janet has taught classes for closers in the Twin Cities for 8 years. She then went on and opened her own Education School called Key Smart Continuing Education, Inc. for 5 years teaching and developing her own material for pre-license education credited courses approved by the State of Minnesota. In March 2012, Janet has joined the team of instructors at the MN Realty School to provide a quality, thorough and comprehensive Closers Course and continuing education for closers. These classes are written specifically FOR closers, BY closers and WITH closers!
Janet is a highly motivated professional who enjoys sharing her knowledge and motivational skills. In her free time she enjoys, swimming, walking and her 3 grandchildren. She was born and raised in St. Paul and lives in the Stillwater Area
